Audé has spent the past 2 decades creating dancefloor hits for an outstanding array of musical talents and legends in the music industry. With an unprecedented 135 #1 Billboard Dance hits, the producer has finally released his debut album "Motions." The 12-track album features breakout artists and some more well-known vocalists like LeAnn Rimes, country artist Cody Belew, and LGBTQ+ breakout artist Zee Machine and many more all making up a body of work of stellar tracks that Audé has written and produced, some of them being previous works that were never released.
He partnered up with LeAnn Rimes for their first ever cover track Alanis Morissette’s “Uninvited”, one they worked on together start-to-finish. Included is the track, “I’m Ready” which was originally written by Audé and pop artist Meghan Trainor back in 2014, but it was never cut or released. Another interesting highlight of the album is the Brooks & Dunn cover, "Neon Moon," sung by Cody Belew, in which Dave explores a Country vibe and most interestingly, came up with the idea to remake it when he heard his friend Cody Belew sing it at a gay dive bar in East Nashville called Lipstick Lounge, and it just struck a chord with him.
Dave states in an interview with Naluda Magazine, "This album is the first project I’ve ever done for myself. I’ve made a career out of producing songs for other people, so I finally decided it was time to put my own body of work together with the help of some friends and colleagues. It’s been a bit stressful but also very exciting for me. I wish I had done this ages ago. I’m already thinking about the next one."
On a personal note, I have come to know Dave through his weekly stream entitled "Wake N' Shake," you can catch on Dave's Twitch Channel each week on Tuesdays and Fridays starting at 9:30am EST. I would describe his stream as both fun and informative. Dave spins the latest dancefloor hits as well as his own remixes from his impressive library, and you might catch an inside business story or two, as well as a lot of laughs. With his down-to-earth nature and abundance of musical talent, his stream is a fun-loving and informative way to start off your day. Many regular viewers drop in each time, and we've become a growing community and family. For a fun way to start off your day, I highly recommend you check it out!
You can stream the album in its entirety below on all platforrms, and I've also included a playlist of my 20 personal favorite picks of Dave Audé remixes that have slayed dance floors time and again.
Wishing Dave much continued success on his new album and we look forward to more phenomenal music productions!
